AUGMENTED REALITY MARS EXPERIENCE
JIX created a Mars augmented reality experience for New Zealand’s biggest career exhibition “NZCareersExpo 2018” at Horncastle Arena, Christchurch. With some of the most realistic 3D animated characters created for Augmented Reality this Interactive space was a major crowd puller at trade show. Users found themselves walking on Mars and interacting with the astronauts which by the way was an awesome photo opportunity! The experience provides an immersive opportunity for all ages, and is extremely compelling as both media space and edutainment platform. To create what the future will look like on the Red Planet our tech team involved cutting edge 3D technology with help of Trip creative. The event brought about at least 2000+ students spread across three days, since it was disruptive in a way it was never done before on this scale by any publicly funded institution in New Zealand. The video shows a glimpse of how joyful and immersive the experience was to not only the students, but also to the teachers and general public.
